Do It For You…Do It For A Cause
We’re back with another Series our popular YOGA FOR MOVEMBER Short Course. Each year we join forces with Movember Canada! When you register, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Movember charity to help raise funds and awareness for all the dads, brothers, sons and friends in your life and across the globe.
And helping us in this endeavour is Rising Sun Martial Arts in Oakville. They will be hosting our event in one of their amazing large training studios.
If you’re reading this then we know 1 of 3 things about you. Either you have experienced yoga before and looking forward to an partaking in our unique approach to an athletic style yoga practice. Or you have never tried it before but are intrigued at the idea of it. Or…you are an advocate for men’s health and willing to do what you can to improve men’s quality of life. Right? Well, it doesn’t hurt to have some fun in the process.
What’s This All About?
Let us first say that this is not your typical yoga class. You won’t need to worry about trying to attain pretzel-like poses. This class is for regular guys and regular gals; the work-hard, play-hard and socialize-hard kind of peeps. All genders are encouraged to partake in this special course however it is designed to compliment the areas of tightness men generally experience in their bodies. Now, if you haven’t seen the inside of a gym or arena since high-school, don’t worry. All not-so-active guys and gals will benefit from this short-course series in so many ways.
Worried about whether you can participate because you experience joint pain or previous injuries holding you back??? Trust us we know how this feels. We experience it often and provide numerous modifications for people with all types of concerns. Feel free to contact us to discuss your unique circumstance and see how we may accommodate you.
This class is a strength-based class that will leave you challenged, lengthened and stretched. Set to rhythm and beats like Cold Play and Ben Howard, you will amp up your planks and lunges and infuse some much needed oxygen into tight hamstrings, shoulders, hips and glutes.
Moves and poses will build on each other throughout the session. You will feel the burn. And you will feel tension releasing.
So whether you sit at a desk on the computer all day, play sport like a pro or lie on the couch binge watching Netflix, click the button below, register for this short series and LET’S DO THIS!
The Details
We know it’s hard to make a big commitment when you’re trying something new. So we’ve made it easy. Only 7 classes. Held every Tuesday for 1 hour and starts at 7:30pm. Get it started! You’re going to feel amazing!!!
Oh, and we love to give gifts so when you register, you will receive your very own brand new mat provided by Lolë, a strap and block to use in your classes and a ‘Bro Bag’ filled with goodies.
